Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don’t get too uncomfortable.

Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Four Hand Massage is a type of massage therapy which involves two therapist working simultaneously on the client's body with one working on the upper body and one working on the lower body. We usually use a combination of Swedish, Sports and Deep Tissue Massage. 

Many people enjoy four hand massage because they find it extremely relaxing, and they enjoy the sensation of being pamepered by two highly skilled massage therapists. It can take sometime to get used to, as the sensation is very different from regular massage sesssions and 4 hand massage requires good communication between the and the therapists.

Hampton Bodywerks can offer clients the opportunities to experience a 4 hand massage with a Hot Stones or Hot Thai Herbal Ball. Also, clients can add sugar scrubs and other spa treatments to the 4 hand massage session.

The healing practice of thai herbal ball compress therapy dates back nearly 5,000 years to an Era when the knowledge of hlants, including their effects through ingestion or application on the body, were painstakingly researched and then passed down from one generation to the next.

This hot thai herbal ball therapy was designed to relieve pain and inflammation. A slection of therapeuitc herbs including prai, ginger, turmeric and lemongrass, are wrapped in a muslin compress, steamed and then applied to the body in gentle pressing, circular, and rolling movements.
